The only idea I had is that maybe the download (my connection is about 100mbps) is going faster than my SD card write speed (which is supposed to be 90mb/s). Is there a way to get Logic to index the Library folder and recognise that the full Library is there?Ģ. This would be fine if the downloads were working.ġ. Therefore when I go to my Sound Library Manager, it shows a nearly empty Sound Library, and wants me to download it all again. I have tried copying my full sound library to that (new SD) Library folder, overwriting it’s (minimum content Library) contents with my full sound library, however Logic does not recognise the content. I think I’ve succeeded in one or two small downloads, with most of them taking a long time and then failing. At this point, I try downloading additional content, or small parts, multiple times and it fails most of the time. It then copies the minimum library content to my SD. Then (after renaming my Library folder on the SD to something different), I CAN choose the new SD as my new Library location. When I do that, it downloads the minimum content to my HD (successfully - 1.8gb approx). I tried in Logic to change the sound library location, but I couldn't choose the new SD card as the new library location, as Logic says “contains library content” already.

I wanted to upgrade that to a 256gb card, so I copied Library across to the new SD (which has the same disk name), however Logic does not recognise that as the library.
Logic keeps all the additional content in a folder called Library. I keep my sound library on an SD Card that’s permanently inserted (64gb).
